If you work in the IT world and don't have an account on ACM, I strongly recommend you to open one as soon as possible. The student account costs $19 a year and gives you access to thousands of resources: books, magazines, online courses, software and discounts.
I got several Microsoft applications for free with this account.
If you don't like ACM, you can try IEEE.
